Tuition Guidelines
•TUITION IS DUE BY THE 1ST OF EACH MONTH!!! A $10 late fee will be applied if not paid by the 10th.
•PLEASE DO NOT PRE-DATE CHECKS AND THEN HAND THEM IN LATE.
•If your child will be absent when payments are due please mail-in or drop payments off in the drop box.•  Please plan your payments accordingly. No exceptions will be made.
•If tuition payment becomes 60 days past due, your child will not be able to continue
classes until balance is paid.  If you are having difficulties with payments please contact the Director immediately. 
•Tuition is due regardless of student attendance. Make up classes are available for missed lessons until group dances are started for Recital
•Please see your teacher for available times. Creative Motion does not issue refunds on unused lessons, fees or deposits etc.
•An automatic $15 returned check fee will be applied if your check is returned.
•Tuition and Registration fees are non-refundable!!!
•Tuition is a set monthly fee regardless of a 2, 4 or 5 week month.

Costumes
A costume deposit for our annual recital will be due to the studio in early November.  Once a costume deposit is put down it will be assumed by the studio that you are participating in our show and you will be responsible for the remaining balance.  
If you decide not to participate in our show and costume orders have been placed you are still responsible for the balance.  All deposits are non-refundable!!  Please notify the studio if you choose not to participate in our show.  All balances for costumes will 
be due the week of January 6th when we return from Christmas Break.

Withdrawing from Studio
If you choose not to continue with classes at CMDS, please notify the Director Lyndsey Hebert.  Please do not just stop coming as we will assume you are just missing class and will keep your spot reserved.
Until this information has been received and discussed with Lyndsey you will be responsible for tuition.  



Attendance
It is important that the student attends every lesson.  I understand to bring my child to every class  at least 10 minutes prior to the start of all classes. If my child will be absent, due to illness or other family emergency, I agree to call Position One if my child will be absent. I understand that there will be no refund for any missed classes or  and that my child can "make-up" missed classes in another class recommended by my child's teacher until class dances begin for the recital.

Cancellations and Holidays
Creative Motion follows the Portsmouth School Calendar for most (not all) holiday breaks. Please refer to the Creative Motion Holiday/Vacation calendar for studio closings on the website or posted on the bulletin board.   If the weather is questionable, please call the studio prior to coming to class. If students get sent home early, or have school cancelled, please still call Position One.  We may not follow.  If classes are cancelled due to weather they will not be re-scheduled. We will have a message posted on the machine by 3:00pm weekdays or 8:30am for morning/Saturday classes

Information:  We often pass out flyers to keep you informed as to what is happening at the studio.
Please check your dancer’s bag, the website or the bulletin board in the studio to make sure you are up to date.

Class Attire - We consider it absolutely essential that the correct dance clothes and shoes be worn at all times. At the time of registration we will inform you as to the type of shoe required for each class. All students must wear their hair up during class. Absolutely no T-shirts, sweat pants or warm-up clothes permitted in the classroom. Absolutely no jewelry, it can be dangerous and when asked to be removed it is usually left or sometimes lost in the studio.

Lost & Found:  Creative Motion will not be responsible for left behind or lost items.  Please make sure students have their names on everything and keep things in their bags.  There is a Lost & Found bin in the office if you realize something is missing.  However, if after a few weeks nothing is claimed or asked about the bin will be emptied.  Be sure to check that you have everything you need before leaving the studio.
