Creative Motion Dance Studio is under the creative and artistic Direction of


An Aquidneck Island native, Lyndsey began her training at the age of 5 at Position One under the direction of Lorna Rozon.  She continued dancing and teaching throughout College, graduating with a B.A. in Dance Performance and Education with a minor in Psychology from Roger Williams University.  She is a Regional and National Dance Champion, receiving many prestigious awards - Dance Olympus "Best of Show" in 2003 and 2004 - giving her the opportunity to perform in the Faculty Showcase each year; "Miss Teen" Dance Educators of America for two years;  High Score Soloist at Starbound Competition and "Dancer of the Year".  Lyndsey has studied on scholarship at "STEPS" on Broadway and the "JOFFREY" Ballet in New York.  She toured with the Dance Olympus Faculty as a "VIP" in 1999 and assisted renowned choreographers from across the country in various dance workshops and classes.  In 1997, she performed at the Florida Citrus Bowl half-time show.  During College, she was part of the Dance Theatre group and a featured soloist in 2004.  Upon graduating, Lyndsey co-directed, choreographed and performed in "The Souls Of Our Feet".  Lyndsey has had the opportunity to learn from many talented choreographers and continues to take classes in all genres of dance when possible.  Lyndsey is passionate about dance and feels blessed to share her extensive knowledge with the students of Creative Motion and her community.

Lyndsey has been a Dance Educator for over 10 years and is going into her fifth (7th) year of owning and operating Creative Motion.  Additionally, she is a mentor to many of her students during their senior year in high school and helps them with senior projects.  Lyndsey has received choreography awards for her routines performed at Regional competitions.  Her Performing Arts Troupe performs throughout the community and continues to compete regionally and nationally, receiving many awards.
